In 2019, VISIT DENVER staged a media takeover in Chicago to help attract future visitors and inspire them to indulge all the activities Colorado has to offer.
DENVER, COLO. — January 27, 2021 — After a nationwide search, Visit Big Sky announced Karsh Hagan as its new agency of record. Karsh Hagan, a Denver, Colorado-based multi-disciplined branding and digital agency, will help transform Visit Big Sky’s messaging and identity to drive business growth during off-peak travel to increase the visitor economy's economic impact.
The Visit Big Sky Board was unanimously impressed by the agency’s ability to use data to inform campaign storytelling and effectiveness. Karsh Hagan brings 38 years of tourism expertise and creative prowess through groundbreaking campaigns such as the Colorado Tourism Office’s “Come to Life” and Aspen’s “Give A Flake” sustainability messaging.
Visit Big Sky promotes and develops authentic tourism experiences that grow Big Sky’s economy and sustain its residents' quality of life. Beyond winter, visitors enjoy the vast wilderness and outdoor recreation of the Big Sky region via hiking, biking, backpacking, fishing, white water rafting, and camping. Visitors can take advantage of a host of lodging, dining, and shopping that Big Sky offers.
“While Big Sky was the largest bed tax collector in Montana this year, we know that once the world opens back up to travel, there will be more competition than ever before to attract visitors. The goal has always been to increase sustainable tourism, and one key factor in doing so is dispersing the time visitors come throughout the year,” said Visit Big Sky Board President Tim Drain.

Karsh Hagan will promote travel during off-peak times, including summer and spring, and attract travelers visiting nearby Yellowstone National Park. The partnership with Karsh Hagan will continue to further the Board’s mission.
