Senior Digital Art Director

Karsh Hagan is looking for a Senior Digital Art Director with a strong digital background to refine its digital design efforts in the agency.  

The Senior Digital Art Director will be responsible for working closely with the internal agency team and clients on digital creative projects.  This roll will work closely with the Senior Creative Designers, Creative Directors, and Creative Technology team to create solutions that are aligned with overall business and marketing goals.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for creative with deep experience in brand identity, campaign development, and digital design.  They will be an innovative thinker and have a natural ability to lead teams in creative digital ideas.  Our Senior Digital Art Director will have an innate need to think of new and exciting ways to bring brands to life in the digital medium and in real life.  They will tap into technology, culture, art, film, and fashion trends for creative inspiration.  They will guide and mentor creatives on strong design ideals and geek out on fonts, bring artistry and digital techniques to create compelling work.   You create visual communications that are clean, effective and on brands.  You are an expert in the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and InVision prototyping.  The Senior Digital Art Director will thrive on collaboration and take constructive feedback that aligns with business strategies and goals.  You handle concurrent projects and fast-paced deadlines with ease.  The ideal candidate has an endless drive to outdo themselves every time they work on a creative client project.   

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead clients in creative digital strategy (web, app, email, motion, social) including brand integration and content work.

  • Work alongside the broader Agency team to uncover insights and design solutions that drive business results for our clients.  

  • Collaborate with the larger creative team on digital creative concepts and brand strategy.

  • Work closely with user experience and development teams on projects to concept digital projects and execute them.

  • Coach and inspire creative staff and junior digital creatives staff on conceptual ideas and best practices in digital design.

  • Execute creative work for our clients, (web, app, email, motion, social) with a heavier focus on digital related project executions.

  • Follow and share current trends in digital design and digital marketing trends with the agency.

  • Be an excellent presenter of digital creative ideas and digital work.

 

 

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 7 years of experience with 3 years in a management role.  Must have agency experience.

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Must have strong collaboration skills, ability to work with internal teams, departments and external partners.

  • Advanced background in digital design and deep understanding of digital design principles and theory.  

  • Expert skills in the entire Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.

  • Advanced skills in motion software and InVision prototyping.

  • Excellent in design, typography, layout, packaging, digital and overall art direction skills targeted at the digital medium.
